The Public Works Department constantly strives to meet the customers’ needs in an efficient, friendly and safe manner while providing a safe roadway people can travel through. Our efforts are met most of the time with a positive attitude from the public. The Street Department strives to provide many services such as street maintenance, brush collection, etc. to the public in a professional, fast, courteous and cost efficient manner.

Residential street lights are maintained by AEP Texas and can be reported here: AEPTexas.com. Please note that most light poles have an identifying number located on pole that can aid in reporting.
Traffic signals are maintained by the City of Beeville with the exception of Texas State Highways. These State right-of-ways include Hwy 59 (Houston Street), Business Hwy181 (N. Washington/ N. St. Mary's Streets), Hwy 202 (S. Washington Street) and FM 351 to name a few. If a light is out, please call Public Works Department at
The City of Beeville provides courtesy Brush Collection. The Public Works Department will pick up brush in your neighborhood based on the schedule listed below. Unfortunately the City is no longer able to pick up bags of leaves with the brush collection. Citizens may take their bags of leaves directly to the Collection/ Litter Station located at 200 S. Jackson Street. For more information contact the Utility Administration Office at 361-358-4641.

Fee Schedule for the Collection Station: City of Beeville Citizen's Trash Collection Station
Eligibility Requirements: Must live inside the city limits of Beeville and provide paid receipt of collection station fees. Citizens can pay the Collection Station fees at the Utility Department Monday through Friday, 8am-4:30pm. Trash or construction debris from Contractors is not permitted.
