City of Beeville Birth and Death Records

  • The City Secretary’s Office in Beeville is responsible for maintaining all birth and death records that occur within the city limits. This office also handles the issuance of these records, amendments to birth and death certificates, and burial transit permits.


Who Can Request a Certified Copy?

  • For births within the past 75 years and deaths within the past 25 years, only immediate family members of the individual named on the certificate are eligible to request a certified copy. Others must provide legal documentation, such as a court order, to establish eligibility.


Proof of Eligibility:

  • All applicants must provide a valid government-issued photo ID along with their application. Please click here to view the list of acceptable forms of identification.


Prices:

  • Birth Certificate: $23 each
  • Death Certificate: $21 for the first copy, $4 for each additional copy in the same transaction


Mailed Applications:

To submit an application by mail, please include the following:

  • A completed and notarized application form
  • A copy of your valid government-issued photo ID
  • A check or money order payable to the City of Beeville for the correct amount
